Here's an opportunity to become an MVM, quick! (Or, if you're an MVM, be promoted to Level Two). We're going to play, Last Man Standing. It's a forum game I saw elsewhere, but I've renamed it to make it sound cooler and I'm modifying the rules to make it a bit more fun and in tune with our forum setting.

Concept: Users "attack" each other in a medieval setting in order to gain the status of an MVM.

How to Play: You can only attack the person who posted before you. Ie, say some guy name AGuyMonkey made the first post saying: "Argh! So far I am the only one here!" Then, say a guy named Crawler made the next post, he would have to attack AGuyMonkey because AGuyMonkey was the last to post. So, Crawler would say something like: "Grabs sword and stabs AGuyMonkey!" This doesn't mean that AGuyMonkey is out of the game. In fact, you can't get out of the game. Everyone is sort of 'immortal,' so no matter how many times you are attacked, you can continue onward. So, now Crawler has been the last attack. AGuyMonkey may attack him again, or say a new person entered the game. We'll call her Zelda (hehe). So, since Crawler was the last to attack, Zelda MUST attack Crawler, not AGuyMonkey. you can attack people anyway you want as long as it follows the rules below.

Rules: You can ONLY attack by using something from medieval times. Even magic is okay. Tanks, guns, grenades, etc are NOT okay. If you use magic, you must state it upon entering. Upon entering the game, if you use a weapon, you must states what it is - you may have two weapons only. Choose wisely, once you enter the game with your weapons, you can't trade them out for new ones. NO MAGIC WEAPONS. If you use magic, you may NOT have a weapon. You CANNOT steal another person's weapon or magic. You CANNOT forfeit your magic in the middle of the game to get a weapon and you cannot suddenly learn magic in the middle of the game either. If you use magic, you are required to shout out spells. You can use them from the Inheritance book, Harry Potter or make up your own. I don't care. Upon entering the game state what you are. You can be either a human, elf or dwarf. All can use either weapons or even magic (yes, even dwarves may use magic). You CAN have things like horses, even dragons to ride upon. If you do, you MUST state that you enter the game WITH one of these animals. They can't be made up animals. They must be actual things from another book series or mythology (you can even ride piggy back on an Anubis, I don't care). The animals must be used for riding ONLY! You can use them to move around quickly through the battlefield. So, if you have a horse, you may ride it around. If you have a dragon or griffin, you may fly around. Your animals cannot attack others. Only you can attack others. You CANNOT steal or kill someone's animal. A person can get rid of their animal by sacrificing it to the gods - that's the ONLY way you can get rid of an animal. If you get rid of it, you CANNOT get it back. You may use elements of the battlefield (see below) to use while attacking (ie, saul picked up a rock and chucked it at Ryan). Those who use magic CAN use items from the battlefield, so they too can chuck rocks.

Setting: The battle is taking place in an extremely large clearing of Ellesméra. Once inside, the clearing you can't get out. The trees of the forest are too thick to leave the clearing. Small rocks and pebbles frame the circular field, staying close to the edge of the area. In the center of the field, there is a small mound of dirt and surrounding it, tall grass. To the eastern side of the dirt, the grass is so tall that one could hide in it if they wanted to. The southern part of the clearing holds a small creek.

How to win: Since no one can die in the game, how do you win? The game will end promptly on Friday the 15th at 8:59 pm EST. The last person who made an attack BEFORE or right at 8:59 will be considered the last one standing and shall win the game. If you win, you get MVM status!

Saul, a human, entered the meadow with his sword in his hand and a dagger in his pocket. He silently awaited new comers.

I have a bow and arrow and a dagger.

I take my spot and hide in the grass on the east , draw my bow, jump up, suprise Saul and shoot him between the eyes.

I then go back to crawling around in the grass

Oh and I am an elf

whatsamatta, an elf with a dragon, attacked kenny with his sword, making sure to hold onto his thing with spikes on it in the other hand(can't remember the name)


This is going to be awesome

I use my bow to shoot through the wings, making it usless for flying (I think I can do that)

With my elf speed I jump up in the air, load my bow, fire it at whatsamatta, and hit him in the back of the head.

I am an Elf, have a trusty steed named Arrow and my magical abilities consist of basic spells to do with fire and healing. My two weapons are a long broadsword and a mace.

*Rides Arrow extremely fast and charges at I_killed_kenny with my broadsword out, taking off his arm as I pass him*

and kenny you cant do that to my dragon remember? you cant kill animals

I pick up my dagger with my feet, do a somersault and unleash the dagger half way, it flies straight into whatsamatta's back

@whatsamatta - I didn't kill the dragon I just rendered him useless for flying. (Though if that goes against the rules Your dragon is back to normal)

@kenny - it pretty much does the same thing as killing it

*Again uses Arrow to charge at Kenny, this time using my mace. This time I hit him in the head and is knocked out cold*

Being an elf I gain consciousness very quickly

I use my Bow to pelt Tuna Gunner with arrows
